Registration Policies
Attendance and Tuition
Students are required to be prompt and attend all scheduled classes. Any student who must miss class is required to call the School Office prior to class time. Students suffering from minor injuries may observe class. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to sit and observe. If only one student is present for a group lesson, the lesson will run as a private class for one-half hour for technique and 15 minutes for pointe. Performance company warm-up classes, choreography classes, studio rehearsals, and stage rehearsals are considered class time and part of the student’s curriculum.
Tuition is due and payable one week in advance of each season. A 10% late fee will be assessed after the due date. There are no refunds, and classes cannot be applied to a subsequent session or transferred to another person. There is a $25 returned-check fee.
Supervision and Lobby
Children under age 10 must always be supervised outside the studio and escorted to and from the school door. Students may enter the studio only when a teacher is present, except advanced students who may enter a few minutes early to warm up. Parents and guardians are encouraged not to stay in the lobby during classes or rehearsals so students can focus and the parking area remains free of traffic.
